Hawk-Woods VL-M150D Self  Reset Battery

Hawk-Woods VL-M150D Self Reset Battery has added the 150Wh Mini V-Lok Data to their Mini V-Lok Data range. It is the first of its kind. This compact battery system offers all the features of a standard V-Lok battery, but in a smaller and lighter case. It is the perfect solution for those who need long run times but want to save on weight and space. The D version of this battery has an auto resetting PCM, meaning it will automatically reset itself if it shuts down and goes into protection mode. This is especially useful for shooting in the field where a charger may not always be accessible.

The Hawk-Woods 150Wh Mini V-Lok Data also features a SMBUS communication system, making it compatible with RED cameras and other equipment that uses SMBUS. This allows users to easily view the batteries power percentage and remaining time on the equipment display, providing a more accurate battery charge level. These batteries can be used with all existing fittings and chargers. Additionally, they are flight safe for carry-on luggage within the 100Wh – 160Wh range, with a maximum of two batteries allowed for a total of 300Wh of power. Other features include a built-in fuel gauge, thermal protection, short circuit protection, discharge and voltage protection, and 1 x Power-Con output for nominal battery voltage.

Within the 100Wh – 160Wh bracket, this battery is flight safe for carry-on luggage and a maximum of two can be carried giving 300Wh of travelling power. Built in fuel gauge, thermal protection, short circuit protection, discharge and voltage protection are all still features. Lastly the battery has the benefit of 1 x Power-Con output which will provide nominal battery voltage.
